Fnook’s Little Big Planet PS3 Theme and artwork
Andy Powell is one of our newest Twitter followers (our account is HERE if you would like to follow us too) and he came to our attention with a groovy PlayStation 3 theme he has designed and published, available to download HERE. Andy’s has a flickr account HERE with lots of examples of his great artwork.
We`re particularly fond of his hand drawn sketches but can’t fail to be impressed by Andy’s animation demo reels, available to watch on his flickr account
Andy is also a Little Big Planeteer. Look out for his levels on LittleBigPlanet under his PSN ID: fnook.

Thanks for the feature! Hello everyone..
I just wanted to point out that the my hand-drawn wallpaper is one of 3 available wallpapers inside this theme. (the other 2 being brilliant renders from Media Molecule) — After installing the theme your PS3 will randomly choose 1 of the wallpapers every time you either boot up your PS3, or when you exit from a game back to the XMB.
If you see me running around the Little Big Planet, gimmie a shout! ^_^
Sorry Andy…I loaded your theme onto my PS3 several times and it displayed just the 1 Mm render…I`ll try it again later
Great work
hehehe.. Yeah, the PS3 sometimes gets fixated on one wallpaper when there’s more than one included in the theme. You can also -manually- tell the PS3 to pick a different wallpaper from the theme, by going into the ‘theme settings’, and selecting WALLPAPER. Then switch it BACK to Theme, and the PS3 will randomly pick again from whatever wallpapers are included in the theme..
Well they do say you learn something new everyday
thanks for the wallpaper switch lesson – I never knew
Thanks for making this fnook!
I just got myself a new theme for my PS3
it does look a bit pixelated (like it was saved as a jpeg file) when it’s put on a 1080p tv. Especially the renders.
great custom theme nonetheless!
Thanks for the comments!
That’s really odd that you’re getting pixellation.. The wallpapers are full 1920×1080 (which is full 1080p HD), plus they need to be 24 bit PNG’s to be in the theme. I’m running in 1080p aswell on mine, and it’s perfect.. I honestly have no idea why you’d be getting pixellation, I wish I had an answer for you.
