There has been a few tweets floating around Twitter today by LittleBigPlanet’s Community Coordinator, StevenIsbell. He informs me and a few others about some upcoming DLC, including the cross-controller.
I’ll start off by saying that we won’t be seeing the cross-controller DLC and it’s new story pack later this month, despite my predictions yesterday. Steven was able to confirm that the DLC won’t be out until after LBP Vita is released, September 19th in Europe.

Steven replied:@Frogmorton_LBP It’s still a little way off. LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is our next *major* release for LittleBigPlanet.
Don’t let this discourage you too much! Let’s look at some of the facts we know. LittleBigPlanet is supposedly the first game to get this function and the Vita is getting this update later this month. So you would think that they wouldn’t wait too terribly long to get this DLC out, no? Also, there was a playable demo of the story pack at E3 and most recently, Gamescom 2012.
Not to mention, Steven said that LBP Vita is the next major update, which implies we will have some future, minor, DLC planned, right? Well, Steven also informs a few others that there will be a DLC announcement on Mondays Sack it to Me.
