A new contest is starting May first. Although it has not started yet, this is to just get you interested and sign up – this was posted on the official forums:

From May 1 – May 31

 

Participants must create a Little Big Planet level based on a subject that will be revealed on May 1. You will have exactly a full month to complete and submit your level. After everyone’s levels are played by the moderator, a winner will be announced and the reward given. You are allowed to use Little Big Planet 1 or Little Big Planet 2, it’s your choice.

 

Unlimited Number of Participants may enter

 

Prize - 3 month Playstation Plus code and $15 Amazon

 

If anyone wants to enter, come to the Playstation Gamer League and sign up.  And no, there are no entry fees.

    someone needs to do that, though. a contest where you HAVE to create in lbp1. thatd be fun ;)

      You’d have to participate in a beta and do exceptionally good with feedback to earn that :)

    I like this contest, but the prizes don’t interest me very much.. A crown would be nice.

      I totally agree your comment. The Prize doesn’t seem very interestign… And Crown doesn’t mean anything to me. I prefer to earn a Bug Blaster!

    So all you need to do is make a level like story? What’s the plot? Or do we make up our own?
