Over the past couple months me (bludhound) and amazingflyingpoo have been making an official website for the LBPHub app. The LBPHub app has grown significantly since it’s launch and we thought it was time we had a main base of operations for the app. On this website you can find all the info you need to know about LBPHub as well as support forums to post feedback and report bugs. We will also be posting about any updates we make to the app through this website.
There’s also a few other things this website will be used for.
The LBP Hub iPhone, iTouch, and iPad app now has over 10,000 news subscribers and nearly 12,000 users, and to celebrate the event we are launching the LittleBigHub.com website. The website is to help keep LBP Hub users in the loop about updates, increase the ease of bug reporting, and to make it easier than ever to submit news.
News Submission:
LBP Hub is now pushing up-to-the-minute news out to almost 11,000 people. Unlike Twitter, Facebook, Playstation Blog, or the forums, this news appears on a subscriber’s phone the second that we post it, so LBP news can be spread faster and more easily than ever.
We imagine that there are plenty of happy gadders who would love to help us get the news out as soon as possible, and we would really appreciate the heads-up. Because of this we are adding a simple form that you can use to submit news to us. So now if you know of a contest, site specific news, a new level hub, or any other kind of information that you think 10,000 other LBP players should immediately know about, you can fill out a form in less than a minute and send it our way and if we think it is appropriate to post about then we will push it out to our subscribers who will all be immediately notified about it.
Fund Raising for LBP Hub Vita:
We have sunk a lot of time into LBP Hub and we have enjoyed every second (well… almost every second). Unfortunately, life has caught up with us and we just can’t focus on the app like we have been. We will continue to keep it running, and the Notification team will continue to keep the news going out, but we will not be able to focus on updates unless the community is willing to support us.
Instead of having a simple fund raiser where we have only an end goal, we wanted to have milestones along the way so that we can show our thanks as we raise the funds needed. Milestones include things such as native iPad and iPhone5 support, the addition of Achievement Center achievements, and all sorts of other additions to the app. If you visit our Fund Raising page you can see all of the updates we have planned for LBP Hub if the community as support is raised.
Forums:
The purpose of LittleBigHub.com’s forums are to give users an easy way to offer suggestions or report bugs to us. We are in no way trying to compete with the major LBP forums and feel that the current forum ecosystem is perfect just the way it is. The only reason that we have forums instead of simply allowing people to submit a form with a question is that we want to allow the other LBP Hub users to offer answers to questions whenever possible so that we can get questions answered fast.
Contact Us:
If for any reason you feel that the Forums are not the appropriate way to get questions answered or offer suggestions then we do have a Contact Us page so that users can contact us directly using a form. We do advise using the forum, though, since the best case scenario would be to have a number of users who check in there and help us answer questions.
