It’s time to get artistic in LittleBigLands Pod & Planet Decorating Contest. Decorate the best looking pod and planet and win your self a some very rare and special prizes!


We want you to decorate a wonderful looking pod and planet in LittleBigPlanet 2 based on your favorite piece of art or create a pod and planet themed with your own art. This contest is open for all sacks of the community and is all about being artistic with the LBP2 stickers and decorations.



The details are simple. You can base your pod design on any existing art piece you know, paintings, sculptures etc. or you can even base it on a artist and all his work. You can also choose to decorate your pod and planet with your own art which you can make with all the stickers and decorations LBP2 has to offer, most important is that your pod and planet are about art, from a famous artist or from yourself.


We also want you to motivate your choices, why did you choose a certain artist or art piece and what does is mean to you, if you created your own art then we want to know what the art work stands for and meaning it has for you. A good motivation is a must, we will judge your pod and planet together with your motivation.

This is your chance the win a unique high quality piece of LBP art, april2011 donated this art work to LittleBigLand especially for this contest. Artwork is done on high-end bristol board in colored pencil and ink. Artwork is 16 by 20 inches. Artwork is matted with a silver textured matte board and backing

    What? No crown? XD Oh well’z, the prizes you get are really good. I’m already entering the legands crown contest, and I’m doing Norse Mythology (Thor to be exact), but I need to do a bit and the last thing I need is a distraction. So, if you happen to read this, go check my profile out. I mean, I haven’t published it yet, but it’s close to completion!

    whats so disappointing is the fact it has to be about a artist and you cant make your own pod with the stickers,decorations,etc and things you like

      Well the whole point of a competition is to challenge people to do something. We can’t just say “do whatever you want to win” :P

    So w8 all the stuff we do for this pod decorating contest has to be all are own decoration stickers but are we allowed to use the 3d stickers with the 1s we make as well?

    Oh wow this is reletivly neat and I would LOVE to see the aftermath of this contest.  Hmm, What I do for my pods that might help some of you is to go into edit mode of your moon and take pictures (snapshots) of the different matierals.  And use the stickers in your pod.  For example since you cant change the material of your pod but you want a Wood floor.  Take a relitivly nice picture of the kind of wood matieral you would want on your floor then carefully align them as you would to tile a floor.  Ive always enjoyed the modern or regal styles in home.  So decorating your pod as you would your room may be a good way to start.  Dont forget some decorations would look nice.  That white and blue window decoration from the marvel kit would look great as a hottub as well as adding a blue monster toungue in the middle to give the illusion that the tub is full.  I might make some samples on ideas in a level for you guys to understand what im talking about.  I wont be entering as I never knew how to enter the contests but only watch from the sidelines.  But I will deffidently root for anyone that does enter.  Have fun and good luck everyone.  ^,^ -Jinixi

    is it true that if u draw a pic and u send them to them ull get a crown?

      I think that if you publish a level and it gets 1000 plays you get a crown and that is why im trying to spead out the word! play my level:shark survival HARD and ill play yours back

    Hey LBL, are you gonna make some Play themed contests in the feature (Something like… Do a high score in a level)? And would there be Rare Prize Crown for a winner…? I’m really looking forward to the Crown but my problem is that I’m not very good creator… I’d love if you could make one. Thank you!

    every one I think I know how to get the very rare crown 4 ur sack boy (or 4 ur sack girl) if your in the play stachn netwrk yoo must publish a level in little big planet and if it gets 1000 plays you will maybe get a crown!
