Today at Sony’s show during E3, there was very little news about LittleBigPlanet. But, there was one big piece of news that will get all our Vita users very excited!

Coming soon, not sure when exactly, you can use the Playstation Vita as a controller in LittleBigPlanet 2! This will be a DLC add-on pack, kind of like the Move Pack. During E3, it was announced that their will be new levels, stickers, materials, decorations, etc. We were giving very little details but I am expecting so much to come!

Also, there was a new post on LittleBigPlanet.com showing new trailers and screenshots for LittleBigPlanet Karting and Vita!

Fresh from our announcements at E3, we have a plethora of news, videos and other exciting goodies to share with you!

To begin with we have the lovely new videos of our exciting new games to show off to you all!

If you’re excited for Sackboy’s new portable or karting adventures, then you will definitely want to check out these new vids!

Not only that but we have whole bunch of new screenshots from both LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting to share with you.

Play, Create, Share has never looked brighter for LittleBigPlanet and we cannot wait to get these great games to you, later this year!

LittleBigPlanet Karting looks amazing! And so does LBP PS Vita!

  • AgressivePandas

Sony knows how to make everyone give them their hard-earned money: add Sackboy to any convention for instant $$$.

  • Moose

They both look amazing. No one can disagree

  • Jinixi

I’ll pre-order it next year, because that’s when I suspect that it’ll be out.

Wait… Is this a game itself? Or is it a DLC for LBP2? I’m confused. At the end they had the game, and in the post it said DLC.

      What are you talking about?

      • PeeJay

LBP Vita is a game itself.
LBP2 will be having DLC so that the vita is the controller, similar to the move pack.

  • Gucci Mane

LBP Karting better step it up. The characters looks so pale and dry.

  • Nightwing0613

Ok, so we’re gonna be able to play the Vita game through the PS3 and add all the goodies to LBP2?

  • >ER

VITA on the PS3 aswell? Hmm, NOW it’s REALLY tempting..

I’ve got wonderful news boys and girls!  LBP Vita has been pushed back to January 13th.  Happy waiting.  8D

Pushed back?  There was really no date announced.  Also, last night (on E3) they said that they are guaranteeing it will come out this year.

Can someone clarify this for me: LBP2 will be getting that ‘Puppetier DLC’ and you can play it on the ps3 with a duel shock controller – yes or no? Or is it Vita only and/or you need Vita + LBP Vita game to play an control it???

  • Alexjaime2382

    Whoa O_o
when you look out the pod you can see multiple planets

  • marcbosch

It looks awesome, only problem is you need to make use of another console to play that game in your actual console. Consoleception. If you don’t own a PSVita it’s almost as if their forcing you to buy one in order to play the game.

I really hate how they didn’t make Paint accessible with regular PS3 controller. Like really? They promote creativity and the ability to make whatever the heck you want, and then restrict you if you don’t waste your money on something so useless? I could do a LOT with that paint tool if I could use my controller on it. Why don’t they let off the restriction? It seems like it’d work just as fine, I don’t see a problem.
