Some of you may have been playing LittleBigPlanet long enough to remember the unofficial community website Sackbook. For those of you who don’t; it was basically a website that let you check the comments and ratings of your levels via your computer. Very handy for us addicted creators who had to go to school or work every now and then. I suppose you could compare it to Facebook. Sadly it was shut down quite quickly by Sony. The official argument was that the way Sackbook accessed the relevant data might not have been save.
Every so often there were rumors that MediaMolecule is working on a similar site, but nothing was ever officially announced.
Well, it still hasn’t been announced but in an interview about LBP PSP with Laura Dilloway, one of the artist behind LBP PSP, criticalgamer.co.uk found out that MM is indeed working on community website:
The Media Molecule guys are putting together a new community website, so hopefully we can get some PS3 players over to the PSP version with that, and build up the community by bringing players of both games together.
A new issue of “Sack It To Me” was posted over at LittleBigWorkshop. Not only are some cool levels exposed, but we also get news about LBP at NFFTY (National Film Festival for Talented Youth).
And check out this ridiculously sweet sackboy toy from MEZCO
It was announced in this issue that Stephen Fry will be doing voice overs for LBP on PSP!
Last but not least, some more active members of the community were crowned for their great deeds. Congratulations to all of you!
Great news Sackboys and Sackgirls, the new Creator Pack 1 is out now. It includes a global lighting switch, infinite life checkpoints, and other great tools to mess around with.
In order to access the tools, you need to download them from the download planet in the main menu of LittleBigPlanet.
This is a lights out level where I was trying to create a dream world of sorts. I think it came out pretty good.
It makes use of the full colour spectrum and also the paintinator for the boss. It took a lot of time to put this thing together and I hope people enjoy playing it as much as I do.

This is my best attempt at a series of levels in which the goal is to find out what happened to everyone. I’ve just posted the 3rd part and I am going to start work on part 4.
Please tell me what you think and any ideas you may have that you think might fit with the plot.

This level is strongly recommended for one player. I’ve been told it is somewhat difficult, but I tried to make the obstacles tricky in a fun way rather than frustrating.
Enjoy!
