-OH NOES! This competition ends within 24 hours!!! Well, all you need to do is take a piece of cardboard and use as many stickers as you want to create a landscape presenting the beauty of Spring time or the horror of the Apocalypse.
What did Sackboy do next? - Level Creation Contest
-For this competition, the goal is to create a level based off of one of the story levels from LBP PSP. Your level is supposed to be about sackboy heading back to one of the levels (i.e.: Down Under, The Orient, etc...) and seeing what's been going on since his last visit.
If you have any questions about any of these competitions, just follow the links and read all of the details. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to dive into the awesome LBP PSP community!

Hidy Ho Sackfolks! Remember that awesome 2.03 update for the PSP? It fixed a lot of issues, but if you think really hard, you may remember that it caused some major problems as well, and it even broke some levels that were already published!
Well, today is a good day to be a PSP sackboy/girl, because the 2.04 update is out now, and it is supposed to fix all of those nasty problems that 2.03 introduced. Here is a nice handy-dandy list of info about the update that Arrestor (PSN: Maboe84) was nice enough to post:
size: 14mb
Changes:
- Pistons now work normal when attached to a dynamic object first
- They wont get stuck to the popit anymore
- Scoreboards trigger if upside down (i think we can thank lleonard for that )
- no more problems when emitters emit the same myobject (didnt notice anything)

Update: The info is now also available on the official LBP website.
It's a new week, and that means that it is time for a new LBL PSP Level of the Week!
This week I think that I have got a level that most of you have not heard of, because I don't think that the author hangs around any of the LBP Forums. Thanks to a hot tip, I managed to dig up this gem of a level.
In "The Ancient Sacktroia!!! Part 1", you are an explorer going through a very well detailed landscape. There isn't all that much story to speak of, but the platforming and scenery is excellent!
The level packs secret areas, like the one below this waterfall:

Incredible Scenery:

Great looking hidden areas off of the beaten path:

And even a boss battle:

I'd advise anyone who enjoys a good LBP platforming level to give this one a shot!
On a side note, remember to PM me (amazingflyingpoo) with any great levels that you have found (especially ones that are relatively unknown, a.k.a - not featured or on the top 4 pages of highest rated) on the LBP forum of your choice since I frequent all of them.
Have a great week!
Hidy Ho Sackfolks! It's a new week, which means it is time for a new PSP level of the week.
This week we have a really unique level for all of you. Remember that amazing PS2 game called "Shadow of the Colossus"? Man, that game was freaking awesome. Back in the early days of LBP on PS3 I would actually go searching for good SotC levels, but I never really found anything even close to interesting.
Well, this week I found exactly what I have been waiting for for over a year!
In Colossal Calamity, sackboy is tasked with climbing a colossus which is about to destroy a town it is walking toward. He needs to climb the monster and take it down before it gets there.
You start off at the feet of the monster, and from there you have to climb up its legs:

Once you have reached the belly, you "monkey climb" across the belly:

At this point you reach the first weak spot on the colossus (and get a great view of the head):

You then find your way to the monster's back and try to get across it:

I am going to stop there and let you experience the rest for yourself. Be warned, this level is pretty hard, but it is also one of the most unique and fun levels I have played on LBP PSP. I would highly advise everyone to check it out!
Do you live in or around London and have some spare time on the 30th of October? Than you might want to consider visiting the Eurogamer Expo, because some folks from Media Molecule and Sony Cambridge will be there. Plus you can get your hands on LBP PSP. Who can say no to that?
Do you love LittleBigPlanet? Want to meet some of the collective minds behind the games? Can you get to London on the 30th October?
If you answered “YES!” to all of the above, then why not come and join in the fun at the LittleBigPlanet Mini Fan Meet 09, taking place at London Eurogamer Expo on the 30th October! We’ll be there all day hanging out, having fun and playing games, and you should be too.
Come and join us and you’ll get to do a load of pretty awesome things that all warrant exclamation marks!
Play LittleBigPlanet PSP Before it hits the shelves!
Chat with the LBP PSP Dev team from Sony Cambridge!

Have a fun time!
Maybe win some stuff!
Play loads of other pre-release games at the EG Expo!
Note – Sadly this is only happening on the first day of the London Expo – not the Saturday, and not the expo in Leeds, so be there or regret it for the rest of your life hombre.
If you’d like to come to the LBPMFM09 please RSVP by sending us an email here, so we can email you with more details. You can buy your tickets to the expo here. Hope to see you there!
By the way the tickets cost £6 and there are less than a hundred left at the time of writing.

Hidy Ho Sackfolks! I just wanted to let you know that Kotaku has posted a preview for LBP PSP. Just follow THIS LINK to check it out for yourself.
It would appear that all the information is not all up to date since they talk about there being no official release date (and on the recent "Sack it to Me", a release date was announced), but any information we can get is interesting, so I we wanted to pass the news onto you all.

Hidy Ho Sackfriends! I have a bit of news/speculation for you today. XxRolotxX over at LBPForum.net has brought it to my attention that Amazon and GameStop both have release dates for LBP PSP posted. In all honesty, I don't usually take GameStop release dates very seriously since they just use them for placeholders, but when I saw that Amazon.com had a date, I decided that maybe this is something to post about.
So, here are the dates we have:
Amazon.com - November 20, 2009
Click HERE to link to that info
GameStop.com- November 17, 2009
Click HERE to link to that info
It would appear that we can expect the game around November 17th, which in my opinion is the more likely date between those two, since it is a Tuesday, and usually games are released on Tuesdays.
