Happy Birthday LittleBigPlanet!

One year ago LittleBigPlanet was released! There have been many memorable moments for everyone, no doubt (Who will ever forget the supreme reign of Ramp! :p)

Anyway, MediaMolecule has a present for us:

Over the next few weeks we will be celebrating the first Birthday of LittleBigPlanet! It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since the game was released, and we’d like to thank every gosh-darn one of you for making our year so much fun! There’s going to be a lot to look forward to in the next year, starting with this week’s store update…

It might be traditional for the birthday boy or girl to receive gifts, but to celebrate this special day, as a present from us to you, we have created this special one Birthday Cake Costume, which will be downloadable from the store on Thursday for one week only!

But wait what is this!

Because we love you all so much, we didn’t stop there, and we’ve decided to celebrate the birthday by re-releasing the ever-coveted Space Suit Costume which was originally available at the game’s launch back in 2008!

How cool is that?!

LBP PSP costumes sneak peek

Some of the costumes you will see in LittleBigPlanet PSP have just been posted on the LBW news site. Again there seems to be something for everyone and those who missed out on the space suit in the PS3 version will be pleased to see that it will be back in some form in the PSP version. However it look like the space buggy as well as the Killzone tank costume are pre-order incentives or part of an upcoming DLC pack. They look cool nonetheless.
